Driving to Sundance at Big White Ski Resort
Big White Ski Resort is located 56 km (35 mil) South East of Kelowna, the largest city in the Okanagan. From Kelowna, take Hwy 33 for 32 km (20 mi) until you reach Big White Road. Turn left and drive another 24 km (15 mi) where you will arrive at the village. After passing under the Gondola & Skiers Bridge, go around the switchback and turn right onto Feathertop Road. Sundance is the first resort on your left hand side.
Current Road Conditions from DriveBC.ca
Transport Canada requires the use of a winter tire that has been rated for severe snow conditions to travel Hwy 33 and Big White Road. These tires have a pictograph of a mountain peak with snowflakes on the side. In section 208 (1) of B.C.’s Motor Vehicle Act there is a more specific definition of “winter tire.”
