Q:  Is Sundance at Big White Ski Resort TRUELY ski in/ ski out?

A. Yes. In fact we have one of the best ski-in/ski-out locations on the hill with direct access to the Bullet Express chairlift and two Ski-In access points - one off the Sundance Run and one off Short-Cut.  
 

Q.  How close is Sundance at Big White Ski Resort to the Village?

A. Sundance at Big White Ski Resort is a 5-7 minute walk to the Village Centre Mall, Big White Kid's Centre, multiple restaurants, shopping and Lara's Gondola down to Happy Valley Adventure Park.

New for the 2011/12 Season - the complimentary Big White On Mountain Shuttle includes a stop out front of Sundance, in their scheduled service from 7 am to 11 pm!
 

Q. What is Club Sundance?

A. Hours of fun, entertainment and activities for everyone! The amenities included in Club Sundance for the exclusive use of our guests are:

• Winter Waterslide, Outdoor Pool, Hot Tubs and a guest barbeque.
• Kids Zone with 3 SONY Play Stations, Foosball Table, Bean Bag Chairs, and other fun stuff.
• Sundance Theatre with a Nine Foot Screen, HD Projection, Surround Sound and Tiered Seating
• Fitness Facilities with a full compliment of Life Fitness Equipment, Change Rooms and Steam Bath
• Fireside Lounge with overstuffed Leather Chairs and Sofas, Billiards Table, Television & Fireplace
   

Q.  What kitchen conveniences are provided in your accommodation?

A.  All accommodation units at Sundance at Big White Ski Resort include full kitchen facilities, with the exception of our Studio Club Suites.  Full kitchens include stoves, ovens, refrigerators, dishwashers, microwaves, dishes, cutlery and cooking utensils, toasters, and coffee makers.  Coffee, Tea, Sugar, Whitener, Salt and Pepper are supplied.   All kitchens at Sundance at Big White Ski Resort are fully equipped right down to the cork screw!

Studio Club Suites features a galley kitchen;  including a sink, mini-fridge, microwave, dishes, cutlery, toaster, coffee maker and coffee service.
 

Q.  Where can I shop for supplies?

A. At Big White you can purchase liquor and groceries at the Big White Market.  If you require larger quantities or specialty items, a 'stop-and-shop in Kelowna is your best bet, or alternatively you can pre-order your groceries from Vacation Food Services. There are several major stores on the way. Kelowna has anything you might need from health foods to last minute ski equipment. For longer stays you may want to bring laundry soap, softener, spices, baggies, aluminum foil and any specialty items you may not find at the Big White Market. 

Be sure to fuel your vehicle in Kelowna if you are driving as there are no gas stations on the Mountain
 

Q.  Is there parking at Sundance at Big White Resort?

A. Sundance at Big White Ski Resort provides for guest parking in our geo-thermally heated underground parking area. One parking stall per lodge suite and cabin is available.   Trailside Townhomes have a private tandem two car garage.

Q.  Do I need a car at BIg White Ski Resort?

A.  Big White offers an convenient airport shuttle service and as the Big White mountain playground is completely walkable from Sundance at Big White Ski Resort , a rental car on Mountain is not necessary unless it is preferred.

Q. Where do I find currency exchange and banking machines?

A. All currency is in Canadian Dollars. Bringing Canadian Dollars and credit cards is your best bet as we do not have any banks on the mountain at Big White. In the village center , we do have a number of  ATM machines connected to Cirrus and Interac International trademarks. Currency can be exchanged and travelers cheques can be cashed at Big White Central Main Ticket Office or in the town of Kelowna on your way up to Big White.

Q.Does Sundance Resort have Meeting Facilities?

A. Our theatre in Club Sundance can accommodate 24 people in genuine tiered seating and may be used for meetings where visual presentations are required.
 

Q. Anything else we should bring?

A. You may want to bring your camera, work out gear and don't forget your swim wear to enjoy the Club Sundance pool and hot tubs!
